Has a sliver of the cosmic war broken into the derelict desert town of Rabbit Springs? Three unlikely draftees, a burnt out preacher, a goth punk, and a waitress with a few more miles than new are called into a battle that transcends the evening news.

And the old man who comes and goes like a wraith? Is he just another ancient desert rat or is he what he claims? A Watcher, assigned to protect this piece of turf from the Malignancy - the origin of evil?

A watch made in Heaven keeps time - but only in eternity, and it’s ticking down … the Apocalypse just got a little more intense. 347 pages, perfect bound

Thank you ma’am; The website customization kudos belong to the media-wizards at TPPress.com, my talented publishers, publicists, distributors and friends. As for the impressive writing skills, I borrowed them from St. Luke, Twain, David the Shepherd King, the other King (Steven King), Isaiah #1&2, and the Bard himself who pretty much gave the English language a huge head start in the fiction business.

Still, I would have appreciated one scene showing how his limitless knowledge afforded him relationship-handling tact.

If you’re referring to Phil, the soon to be ex-pastor in Chapter 1, you’ll find that like most men he doesn’t seem to have any relationship-handling tact. I think that holds true for him through-out most of the book.
As for limitless knowledge, when anyone, not just one of the charachters in the book, has a moment of enlightenment, an aha! info-dump of the depth of God’s design and love vs the shallowness of most of mankinds effort; well it’s impossible to retain everything in that moment. In fact I’d say it’s very difficult for any of us to retain most of what we experience when we touch the divine. Perhaps that’s why there are so many superstitious religious repetitive practices associated with “Miracle Sites” and pilgrimages. Regardless,Phil in chapter 1 does not have limitless knowledge and I can assure you he screws up in the relationship handling business quite a bit more.

There are alot of un and under-employed writers out there, a curse of Baby-Boom, liberal arts focused educations. That being said you would be wise to head West young man or woman; and by that I mean China. A plethora of writing opportunities are opening up for the multi-lingual . . . over there.

I get paid very well, just not in cash. Today was a usual day in my life. I continued working on Godslinger 2 which will be out this Dec. and I poked around the ranch doing chores, re-potted some of the organic veggies that grow like mad this time of year, and went out to lunch with a guy that checks in with me every few weeks. I’ve known him and been his friend for the last couple three years in which he has lost his job and marraige, but believed in the personal transformation that God can bring even through the bad times. Today was a good day. He found a new job a few months back and somehow found a way through to forgiveness and tolerance which put his marraige back together. Today we talked about building pressed earth and paper-crete shelters in Nov, for recovery homes.
My friend found a way past his problems, so that he could help others less fortunate with theirs. I got paid tons today by playing a small part in his turn-around. So you see I’m rich already, that’s why I don’t have to mess with any of the idiotic affliliate marketing, crap schemes that abound in this medium. The best marketing and money advice I can give you is this: Turn your entire existence over to the one who made you. Listen for the still small voice, follow where it leads. It will surprise the hell out of you, literally! DG

Along with almost everything that seems to be building throughout this area, all your points of view are relatively stimulating. Even so, I beg your pardon, but I do not subscribe to your whole theory, all be it stimulating none the less. It appears to everyone that your opinions are not completely justified and in simple fact you are generally your self not even wholly convinced of your assertion. In any event I did take pleasure in reading it.

    • D G Spillman on said:

I wish the current mode of western civilization wasn’t heading for a nose-dive off a high cliff, but it is.
Much of the future is uncertain. Terrible calamities from space or even from within our own planet can create a multiple species ending event at any time, but that’s not what bother’s me. The future that bother’s me is the one we create. Most empires in the past fell due to their own corruption and negligence, not a super earthquake or tsunami. Reform or revolution must be a constant in our public and personal lives daily. Otherwise we succumb to the second law of thermo-dynamics, entropy. I am wholly convinced of that assertion.
I appreciate your thoughtful comment. DG

  34. D G Spillman on said:

In my reply to comments on the home page you’ll see my advice to somebody else who asked a similiar question. The mechanics are simpler than creating original content that other people want to read. Good luck. DG

  35. D G Spillman on said:

Funny you should mention that. I’m in touch with dozens of grass-roots groups who are doing their utmost to preserve the planet, their communities and the freedoms necessary to build a healthy government. These groups live on a shoe-string budget and spend every cent they get on rescuing and rebuilding. You may see that button sometime later this year. Thanks for the tip. D.G.

You are right about adding more rich content via links and video; and it’s coming. With the help of a few friends, this summer will see a revolution in the way this blog links story sources and community organizations. I expect a spin-off web-site as well, so stay tuned.

  37. OKERSON on said:

With havin so much written content do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright infringement? My blog has a lot of completely unique content I’ve either written myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my permission. Do you know any techniques to help prevent content from being stolen? I’d really appreciate it.

    • D G Spillman on said:

Plagiarism is a net curse. I have no problem with people who want to copy my text to help spread the message that is near and dear to my heart, but I do have a problem if they’re selling something that goes against everything I rant and rave about via affiliate marketing and backlinks.
However you can’t fool all of the people all of the time. Keep up your original work and the folks that matter will track it back to you in the end. Blessings and good luck. D.G.

This beautiful web-site has a Word-Press platform. All customization was done by my publishing company’s tech guru, Jeffrey LeBlanc of True Potential Media. As you can see he does fantastic work.
The weekly blog contents are my attempt to contribute to a growing world-wide community of people who believe it is time to renovate, re-model, reform and revolutionize everything in this tired world. I believe in the potential transformation of humanity through redemption as a first choice. All the options after that involve suffering and death, which nobody wants, well almost nobody. Nearly every human construct and institution must be changed to meet the terrible spectres of our exploding population stress on the environment, outdated political systems and completely inadequate religious institutions. However before we can start in on the heavy lifting of coordinated group efforts I believe that first the change must start within each of us as individuals. After that no future challenge will be impossible for those of us who bind together in a like hearted/minded community. That is why I write the Godslinger series of books. That is why I write this blog.

Nice graphics on your site. I can see how we’d be at the opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to dystopian futures and apocalyptic eventualities. A bridge does span the gulf between two shores, though, so write on brother, write on.

Natacha; Prayers can be answered, even the unspoken ones. I’m am now in the midst of book two of the Godslinger series in which a bad girl from an elite Parisian political family plays a large role. Your style, demonstrated on your website, is perfect for her. I also like your subtly nuanced personality that colors your fashion comments. So don’t be surprised to see Dominque in Book 2 sound a little like you; and yes, of course I’ll list you and your website in the credits section.

If you don’t mind my asking, do you make good money from this blog?

    • D G Spillman on said:

      . . . #$%##$$#
Excuse me I was just laughing myself silly. No, I don’t make any money from this blog. There are more important things than money, not that earning a living for one’s effort isn’t important. It’s just not in the top three. This blog reaches out and whether by accident or kismet touches hearts and hopefully helps readers with the obstacles they face or are about to face in this life.
But let’s talk about you. I was priviledged to help introduce fungal-based proteases to dental inplant surgeons in Austria over a decade ago. They were absolutely amazing in their ability to prevent clotting without artificially thinning the blood, reduce swelling in soft tissue after surgery and had a nice side effect of reducing infection to zero. Fairly inexpensive and available without prescription.
I won’t make any money on this tip either, but if you contact Transformation Enzyme Co. there in Houston, you can speak to any of their M.D.s’ or Ph.D.’s about application potential before and after surgery.
